A White House official speaking to the US press stated that Biden will visit Brownsville, located in the state of Texas, on Thursday, adding that within the scope of his visit, Biden will meet with US Border Patrol personnel, law enforcement, and local leaders.

An official from Trump’s election campaign announced that Trump will also visit Eagle Pass, located in the state of Texas, on the same day.
According to the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll, while the approval rating for Biden has fallen to 38 percent, 17 percent of those surveyed see immigration as the most important issue facing the US today. This figure was 11 percent in December of last year.
