Biden emphasizes support for Ukraine in meeting with Zelenskyy

The White House issued a written statement regarding the meeting held between President Biden and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. During the meeting, Biden emphasized that the U.S.'s strong support for Ukraine will continue and shared details regarding a new aid package to be announced in the coming days.
It was stated that during this meeting, which took place ahead of the meeting scheduled with Zelenskyy at the White House on Thursday, September 26, a comprehensive assessment was also made regarding the joint declaration signed by more than 30 countries concerning the reconstruction of Ukraine.
375 MILLION DOLLARS IN MILITARY AID
Immediately following the meeting, the Pentagon announced that 375 million dollars in new military aid would be provided to Ukraine. In this context, it was stated that the U.S. would send significant military equipment to Ukraine, including air-to-ground munitions, HIMARS missiles, 155mm and 105mm artillery, and Javelin anti-tank systems.
