Bloody attack in Damascus! Many dead and wounded
In an attack carried out near the Saint Elias Church in the Syrian capital of Damascus, 15 people lost their lives and 22 were injured. The attacker opened fire after assaulting the church and then detonated the explosives he was carrying.
An explosion, the cause of which has not yet been determined, occurred at the Mar Elias Church located in the Duwayla district in the east of Damascus.
While the explosion caused significant material damage to the church, many people lost their lives.
Following the incident, security forces took extensive measures in the area and launched an investigation into the explosion.
