Boeing to deliver 96 Apache helicopters to Poland

Boeing to deliver 96 Apache helicopters to Poland

US aerospace giant Boeing will provide 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters to Poland under a $4.7 billion foreign military sales contract with the US Army. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2028.

This order marks the largest acquisition of Apache helicopters outside the United States. Boeing stated that it continues to provide training for Polish pilots and maintenance personnel for eight Apache helicopters leased by the Polish Ministry of National Defence. More than 1,300 Apache helicopters are currently in active service worldwide.

BOEING'S CONTRACT VOLUME EXCEEDS $7 BILLION

The Pentagon announced that Boeing has been awarded an additional $2.4 billion contract covering not only Apache production but also Lot 12 production aircraft for the Air Force and other services. With this, the total volume of Boeing's new contracts has exceeded $7 billion.

Boeing has recently delivered Apache helicopters to countries including Australia, India, and Morocco. The company notes that the Apache fleet continues to expand globally.
