In the Mexican state of Michoacan, bones belonging to 132 people were discovered as a result of excavations in a clandestine grave.
According to reports in the Mexican press, excavation work was carried out on rural land in the town of Tacambaro, following a tip-off.
As a result of the work, bones belonging to 132 people were unearthed from a clandestine grave.
The bones were taken to the Forensic Medicine Center so that identification efforts could begin.
In a statement made by the state prosecutor's office, it was reported that excavations on the land would continue.
