Breaking News: Attack on Israeli Embassy staff in the US: 2 people killed
It has been reported that 2 employees of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, the capital of the US, lost their lives in an armed attack.
Two Israeli Embassy employees have been killed in an armed attack in the US.
US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem stated in a post on her X account that the two embassy employees were "senselessly" killed near the Jewish Museum in Washington.
Noting that the incident is under investigation, Noem said, "We will bring this depraved perpetrator to justice."
FBI Director Kash Patel also announced on X that the armed attack took place near the FBI's Washington Field Office.
Stating that they are working with the police to respond to the incident, Patel announced that they will continue to keep the public informed.
