Egre, a real estate company in London, has fired one of its employees who was reported for voting for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Nazar Smyk, who lives in the UK and describes himself as an equipment buyer for the Ukrainian army, had made social media posts targeting Yulia Vorobyova, who worked at Egre.
On Sunday, Smyk wrote on X, "Not all Russians are dissidents. There are scumbags like Yulia Vorobyova. She lives in London and openly votes for Putin. Do you know what happens to those who support the war?"
In another post, it was seen that Smyk shared screenshots of Vorobyova's Instagram account and criticized her for going to vote.
In her Instagram post, Vorobyova wrote, "When Western media thinks we (the Russian people) don't vote for Putin. Well, we do!" and in another post, she shared the message "Mission accomplished."
Smyk later published his employer's address and called on others, saying, "Show Yulia what she should be responsible for."
Smyk made another post about Vorobyova, saying, "We will f.ck you and the company you work for."
On Tuesday, Smyk published a letter he received from Egre announcing that Vorobyova had been fired.
In the letter, the company stated, "Our attention was recently drawn to messages posted on social media by one of our consultant representatives, Yulia. Yulia no longer has any relationship with our company."
Smyk also claimed that he spoke with the owner of Egre and that 'the company will make a donation for the humanitarian needs of Ukrainians through a British-Ukrainian fund to demonstrate the company's pro-European stance,' and that it would also 'screen new hires to ensure they are not Russians with unapproved political beliefs.'
