Bus plunges off bridge in Mexico
In the Mexican state of Veracruz, 12 people died and 58 were injured after a bus fell off a bridge.
Veracruz state officials announced that a bus traveling between the town of La Tinaja and the city of Acayucan lost control and fell off a bridge.
SEARCH AND RESCUE TEAMS ARE WORKING IN THE REGION
The statement noted that 12 people lost their lives in the accident and 58 people were injured, some critically, and that search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area.
The statement expressed sadness over the accident and offered condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. An investigation into the cause of the accident has been launched.
