China issues striking Israel warning to its citizens: 'Leave as soon as possible'
The Chinese Embassy in Tel Aviv has informed its citizens living in the country that they should 'leave Israel as soon as possible.'
As tensions between Israel and Hezbollah rise in the Middle East, China has called on its citizens in Israel to leave the country as soon as possible for their own safety.
In a statement issued by the Chinese Embassy in Tel Aviv, it was noted that military clashes on the Israel-Lebanon border have intensified, making the security situation in the country 'grave, complex, and unpredictable.'
The statement included the phrase, 'We call on Chinese citizens in Israel to return to their home country or relocate to safer areas as soon as possible.'
China had previously called on its citizens to leave Lebanon following the airstrikes Israel conducted on that country last month.
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian stated, 'Protecting the safety of Chinese citizens is our responsibility.'

AIRSTRIKES ON BEIRUT
Tensions in the region are escalating following the airstrike conducted by the Israeli military on the southern suburbs of Beirut on September 20.
While 45 people, including 3 children and 7 women, lost their lives in the attack, Hezbollah announced that 15 of its members, including high-ranking military commander Ibrahim Akil, had been killed.
A total of 84 people lost their lives in Lebanon following the detonation of pagers and walkie-talkies on September 17-18, followed by the subsequent Beirut attack.
Clashes between the parties have been intensifying from time to time on the Israel-Lebanon border since October 8, 2023.
