Claim that 'Biden cursed at Netanyahu'
It has been alleged that US President Joe Biden accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of lying and used profanity against him on several occasions.
According to a report on CNN, US journalist Bob Woodward's upcoming book titled "War" includes details regarding the conversations and behind-the-scenes dynamics between Biden and Netanyahu in recent months.
The book states that the relationship between Biden and Netanyahu became significantly strained during the spring of this year. It is reported that during a phone call in April, Biden asked Netanyahu about his strategy regarding the Gaza Strip, and the Israeli Prime Minister replied that they needed to launch a ground offensive into Rafah.
Upon this, it is noted that Biden said, "Bibi (Netanyahu's nickname), you have no strategy."
The book also includes claims that after Israel launched a ground offensive in May into Rafah—where displaced Palestinians had taken refuge on Gaza's border with Egypt—Biden used profanity when speaking about Netanyahu to his inner circle.
The book further reports that Biden used expletives to describe Netanyahu as a "liar and a bad guy."
Similar reports had previously appeared in the US-based magazine Politico, but the White House had denied them.
