Clashes continue between Hezbollah and Israel: Tensions escalate

Israel's army and Hezbollah continue to engage in mutual clashes that have been ongoing since the war in Gaza began on October 8, 2023. The Israeli army issued a statement reporting that it had struck Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah announced that it had targeted Israeli military facilities.

In a statement made on the X platform, the Israeli army stated that its fighter jets, acting on instructions from the Military Intelligence Directorate (AMAN), attacked a weapons manufacturing facility belonging to Hezbollah in the Coya region, near the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon.

The statement also reported that airstrikes were carried out on the organization's command center and military buildings in the Nabatieh, Mansouri, and Kfar Kila regions.

The statement noted that several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) sent from Lebanon were detected infiltrating the Upper Galilee region in northern Israel, adding that some were intercepted, while the others fell in an area near the Kibbutz Amiad settlement without causing any injuries.

Hezbollah, for its part, announced that it had targeted the reserve headquarters of the Israeli Northern Corps, the Galilee Division reserve base, and logistics depots in Amiad with kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The statement further noted that a position where Israeli soldiers were located was targeted and directly hit with appropriate weapons, and added that Israeli espionage equipment in a field in the region was also targeted and directly hit with appropriate weapons.

In the clashes that have been ongoing in southern Lebanon between the Israeli army and Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, 434 Hezbollah members have been killed.
