Communication and internet services partially restored in Gaza
Telecommunications companies in Palestine have announced that communication and internet services have been partially restored in various parts of the Gaza Strip, following an outage that began on Thursday.
In a written statement, the telecommunications companies stated that fixed-line, cellular, and internet services have been partially restored in various parts of the Gaza Strip following the provision of a limited amount of fuel through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
The statement noted that the continuity of services in their current state in the coming period depends on the regular supply of sufficient quantities of fuel.
Telecommunications companies operating in Palestine had announced on November 16 that communication and internet services in the Gaza Strip had been interrupted due to the depletion of fuel required to generate power at main stations.
