Communication with Gaza cut off

In a statement made by the Palestinian telecommunications company Jawwal, it was stated, "We regret to announce the complete interruption of all services (mobile, landline, and internet) in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing aggression."

Another telecommunications company, Ooredoo, also stated that the main lines feeding telecommunications and internet services have been repeatedly damaged due to the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

It was noted that all of the company's services have stopped in the southern and central parts of Gaza, while communication in the northern part continues intermittently.

COMMUNICATION WITH TEAMS LOST

The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that communication with all its teams in the Gaza Strip has been cut off. In a statement regarding the issue, the Palestine Red Crescent Society stated that the interruption of communication prevents ambulance and first aid teams from reaching the wounded in a short time.

There have been 9 communication blackouts in the Gaza Strip due to Israeli attacks since October 7. The longest of these interruptions, during which landlines, mobile phones, and internet communication stopped for several hours, lasted 4 days on December 14, 2023.
