Concert cancelled due to "terror threat": A grand gesture from Taylor Swift to her fans
The cancellation of Taylor Swift's Vienna concerts due to a terror threat left her fans deeply disappointed. To make up for the situation, a famous jewelry store gifted crystal necklaces to Swift's fans.
Taylor Swift fans were left disappointed after the singer's 3 concerts in Vienna, part of her Eras Tour, were cancelled due to a terror threat. The singer's fans, who call themselves 'Swifties', had flocked to Vienna for the concerts from other parts of Austria as well as other European cities.
Even though the concert was cancelled, Taylor Swift fans did not give up on gathering in the streets of Vienna, singing Swift songs, and trading friendship bracelets.
Some fans waiting for the Taylor Swift concert wrote comments on social media stating that they had traveled for long hours and were in a difficult situation due to the expenses they had incurred for their stay in Vienna.
FREE CRYSTAL NECKLACES GIFTED
The Vienna Tourist Board made several suggestions for fans coming from all over the world to enjoy the city in order to compensate for the grievances experienced by the concertgoers. One of these suggestions was to receive a 'crystal surprise' from a jewelry store. Following this announcement, long queues formed in front of the jewelry brand, and free crystal necklaces were gifted to Taylor Swift fans.

X users confirmed that they were given a necklace in exchange for showing their tickets. The necklaces feature a large crystal on a grey leather cord.
Taylor Swift is expected to continue the European leg of her Eras Tour in London starting August 15 with increased security. Ticket prices for Swift, who will perform 5 shows at Wembley Stadium, have skyrocketed on resale sites.
THE CHEAPEST TICKET IS 416 POUNDS
Tickets, which were initially priced between 58 and 110 pounds, have reached up to 6500 pounds on resale sites. The cheapest ticket can be purchased for 416 pounds.
On the other hand, 3 people were detained after Taylor Swift's 3 concerts in Vienna were cancelled due to a terror threat. The statement of the 19-year-old suspect, a sympathizer of the terrorist organization ISIS, emerged, and the suspect confessed that he planned to carry out a suicide attack at the Taylor Swift concert. He had stated that they aimed to kill a large crowd.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Security sources stated that the suspect confessed to "aiming to carry out an attack using explosives and knives." Reports in the Austrian press stated that the 19-year-old suspect worked at a metalworking company and had made progress in bomb-making, and that the suspect planned to drive a car into the crowd expected to gather outside the stadium.
It was stated that one of the other two suspects was 17 years old and worked for a company that "provided services" at the stadium where Swift was to perform; the other 15-year-old suspect refused to speak with the authorities.
