Critical level warning from the United Nations

UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric, in his daily press briefing, relayed information from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), stating that Israel's airstrikes on the city of Rafah have intensified.

Emphasizing that a continuous and reliable food supply is being prevented, Dujarric noted that food insecurity in Gaza has reached a very critical level due to the security situation, border closures, import restrictions, and damage to essential infrastructure.

Dujarric stated that the humanitarian situation in Rafah is deteriorating, noting that people have begun stopping trucks for food, and drew attention to the fact that children, the elderly, and those with health issues are at greater risk due to the lack of food.

"378 HEALTH FACILITIES ATTACKED"

On the other hand, in a written statement from OCHA regarding the situation of hospitals and health facilities in Gaza, it was underscored that neither should be part of the conflict.

The statement noted that humanitarian aid and health workers are struggling with great challenges and risks to assist people.

Sharing data from the World Health Organization, the statement reported that "between October 7 and February 12, 378 health facilities were attacked across Gaza."

The statement indicated that 98 health facilities and 98 ambulances were damaged in the attacks.
