US President Donald Trump made significant remarks regarding the ongoing processes with Iran during a speech he delivered in the city of Corpus Christi, Texas. Emphasizing that reaching an agreement is not easy, Trump said, "There is a lot happening right now and we have to make a big decision. You know, it's not easy, it's not easy at all."

Trump described Iran as a difficult country without mentioning it by name, using the words, "A country that has been blowing off people's legs, arms, and faces for 47 years." The US President assessed, "They are sinking ships, they are killing people, not just Americans, but many people. It's terrible. In the last two or three months, 32 thousand protesters were killed."

Stating that Iran is ready to reach an agreement with the US, Trump said that for this process to conclude, a "meaningful deal" must emerge. Regarding the suspended nuclear activities, he said, "As you know, we neutralized their nuclear capabilities with those beautiful B2 bombers, but I would prefer to do it the peaceful way. I want to tell you that they are very tough and very dangerous people."

In his speech, President Trump also drew attention to developments in the energy sector. Emphasizing the increase in oil and natural gas production in the US, Trump said, "We are witnessing a historic American energy boom that we have never seen before." Reminding that he declared a "National Energy Emergency" on his first day in office, Trump stated that the US's daily oil production has risen, liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports have increased, and there has been a decline in gasoline prices.

Evaluating the oil imported from Venezuela, Trump noted that 80 million barrels of oil were imported from the country and that this situation yielded positive results for both nations.
