This development was announced immediately following an announcement made by the US the previous night. The White House Press Secretary stated that US Vice President JD Vance had canceled his trip to attend the meeting in Burgenstock, where he was set to begin discussions on implementing the agreement previously reached between Tehran and Washington.
The purpose of the planned talks was to initiate contacts aimed at implementing the agreement created to end the war between the two countries. However, with this decision, this critical dialogue process has been postponed to an uncertain date.
