Death toll in Moscow terror attack rises above 60
The Russian Investigative Committee reported that more than 60 people lost their lives in the terror attack in Moscow, and that the death toll may rise.
The Russian Investigative Committee has issued a statement regarding the terror attack on the Crocus City Hall concert venue in Moscow.
The statement from the committee noted that experts are continuing their work at the scene of the incident.
Stating that the bodies of the deceased are being examined, the statement included the following: "It has been determined that more than 60 people died as a result of the terror attack. Unfortunately, the number of victims may increase."
The statement further indicated that all evidence, including weapons and ammunition at the scene, has been seized, and that genetic, ballistic, and fingerprint analyses are being conducted, adding that all security camera footage has been seized and is being examined.
ISIS CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ATTACK
The terrorist organization ISIS claimed in a statement on its social media account that its members carried out the attack on the concert hall in Krasnogorsk, located in the Moscow suburbs.
