Death toll in Russia terror attack rises to 139

The death toll has increased in the attack carried out by the terrorist organization ISIS on a concert hall located at the Crocus City Hall in the Moscow region of Russia.

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin stated that 2 people who were rescued from the attack with injuries have died in the hospital, announcing that the death toll from the attack has risen to 139.

Touching upon the ongoing investigation into the attack, Bastrykin said, "The initial results of the investigation show that the attack was carefully planned and prepared."

45 PEOPLE DIED IN THE FIRE

While the identities of 75 of the 139 people who died in the terrorist attack, including 3 children, have been determined, it was established that 40 people died from gunshot wounds, 2 people died from both gunshot and stab wounds, and 45 people died as a result of the fire.

On the other hand, the perpetrators of the attack, Dalerdjon Barotovich Mirzoyev, Saidakram Rachabalizod, Shamsidin Fariduni, and Muhammadsobir Fayzov, were arrested by the court they were brought before yesterday. The first hearing will be held on May 22.
