Details of the 14-point US-Iran agreement emerge! 3 separate regulations for the Strait of Hormuz

The official signing ceremony of the agreement, which is stated to have been reached between Iran and the US, is planned to be held on June 19 in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.

While no official statement has been made by the parties regarding the content of the agreement, various claims about the articles of the agreement continue to be brought to the agenda in the international press.

14-POINT DRAFT CLAIM FROM SAUDI PRESS

Saudi Arabia-based Al Arabiya published a 14-point text that it claims contains the terms of the agreement.

According to the report, the text states that the end of conflicts on all fronts in the region, including Lebanon, has been confirmed. Previously, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had denied such claims and announced that operations against Hezbollah would continue.

The draft also states that Iran and the US have agreed not to interfere in each other's internal affairs and that the negotiations are aimed to be completed within 60 days.

THREE SEPARATE REGULATIONS FOR THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

Among the articles reported by Al Arabiya, there are also three headings regarding the Strait of Hormuz.

Accordingly, it is envisaged that the US will lift the naval blockade, the Strait of Hormuz will be fully operational again within 30 days, and Iran will clear all mines in the region.

ECONOMIC SANCTIONS AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT ON THE AGENDA

According to the claim, the agreement text also includes significant regulations regarding Iran's economic demands.

These include providing 300 billion dollars in resources for the reconstruction of Iran, lifting all sanctions, facilitating the sale of oil and petrochemical products, and unfreezing assets.

NEW PROCESS ENVISAGED FOR FINAL AGREEMENT

It was also claimed that the draft text includes a commitment that Iran will not produce nuclear weapons under any circumstances.

In addition, it was stated that an implementation mechanism would be established to ensure that the parties maintain their current positions until a final agreement is reached. Following the verification of the implementation of the articles, it is planned to initiate negotiations for a comprehensive final agreement and to have the final text approved by a binding resolution of the United Nations Security Council.

TRUMP'S STATEMENT ON 300 BILLION DOLLARS

While there has been no official confirmation from the parties regarding the claims about the agreement articles, US President Donald Trump denied the claim that 300 billion dollars in aid would be provided to Iran in a post on his social media account.

This statement raises questions about the accuracy of the articles published by Al Arabiya, while uncertainty regarding the final content of the agreement continues.
