A woman in France was detained for saying "selamünaleyküm." The woman, who was reported by her neighbor, was released after being held in custody for a while.
In Paris, lawyer Nabil Boudi stated in a post on the social media platform X that his female client was reported to the police by a neighbor who heard her say "selamünaleyküm" to workers in the building where she lives.

Lawyer Boudi stated that his client, who was taken into custody this morning as part of the complaint, was released after a short time.
Regarding why his client was detained, Boudi stated that the police responded by saying, "no risks can be taken in the current context."
