Donald Trump makes striking claim regarding Biden's withdrawal from the race: 'They told him...'

Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump gave an interview to Elon Musk in a chat room he joined on the X platform.

The X Spaces application, where the interview was broadcast, crashed just as it was scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM local US time, preventing many users from joining the session.

FOLLOWED BY MORE THAN 1 MILLION USERS

Musk, the owner of the X platform, later announced that X had been subjected to a cyberattack, which prevented users from joining the session properly; the interview was held after the issue was resolved. More than 1 million users followed the chat room.

Expressing his views on almost every topic from the assassination attempt he survived to the issue of illegal immigration, and from the economy to foreign policy, Trump took aim at his election rival Kamala Harris and current President Joe Biden during the two-hour interview.

"I SURVIVED BY A MIRACLE"

Speaking at length about the assassination attempt against him at the beginning of the interview, Trump said he survived the bullet aimed at him "by a miracle" and that a single bullet fired from the right angle could have killed him.

Explaining that he survived the bullet because he turned his head to look at a chart containing information about illegal immigrants, Trump said, "That illegal immigrant chart saved my life."

Trump added that he would return to Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of the assassination attempt against him, in October to hold another rally.

"THEY SHOULD COME TO THE US LEGALLY"

Accusing the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration of facilitating the entry of illegal immigrants into the country, Trump stated that all kinds of illegal immigrants are arriving not only from Latin America but also from Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

"These people should only come to our country through legal channels," Trump said, arguing that there are many criminals among these immigrants, that crime rates in the country are rising because of these individuals, and that the Biden administration is responsible for this.

Stating that he would completely stop illegal entries into the country if elected president, Trump declared that they would carry out "the largest deportation operation in the country's history."

"A COUP WAS STAGED AGAINST BIDEN"

Arguing that US President Joe Biden was forced to withdraw from his presidential candidacy, Trump said, "This was a coup against the President of the United States. He (Biden) didn't want to leave; they told him we can do this the easy way or the hard way."

Claiming that Democratic presidential nominee Harris is a worse candidate than Biden, Trump commented, "We cannot elect her; she is incompetent. She hasn't even done a single interview yet."

Arguing that Biden has a very low IQ, Trump said, "The President has a very low IQ; it was low 30 years ago, but now there might be none left at all."

"NOVEMBER 5 WILL BE THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY IN OUR COUNTRY'S HISTORY"

Trump argued that the elections to be held on November 5 will be the most important turning point in US history, and called on all his voters to go to the polls.

"November 5 will be the most important day in our country's history. These elections will be the most important elections ever. It will probably be the most important day in our history. I will be very sad for everyone if we don't win," said Trump, arguing that his opponent Harris is unqualified to be president.

"I HAD GOOD RELATIONS WITH PUTIN; THE UKRAINE WAR WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED"

Claiming that the Ukraine war would never have happened if he were president instead of Biden, Trump said, "Despite the 2-year Russia investigation against me, I had good relations with Putin. He respected me. We would sit down and talk about Ukraine," arguing that he could have solved the problem before the Ukraine war began.

Recalling a conversation he once had with Putin, Trump stated that the US was respected at that time, saying, "I told him not to do it, I said you can't do it. I told him what I would do. He said that's not possible; I said it is."

Trump said, "One reason Biden is so bad is this: (if I were in office) the attack on Israel would never have happened. Russia would never have attacked Ukraine. There would be no inflation in our country, and the disgrace in Afghanistan would not have occurred."

Arguing that the situation in the Middle East is not going well and that conflicts could escalate to a regional level, Trump claimed that such a situation could lead to World War III.

Noting that Israel possesses a missile defense system called the "Iron Dome," Trump stated that the US should also have such a system and that he would implement it if he becomes president.

Trump also expressed that he is a true friend of Israel and that he cannot imagine how a Jewish person could vote for Harris, assessing, "If you believe in Israel and you vote for her (Harris), she is worse and more disrespectful than Biden."

In several parts of his speech, Trump claimed that if he were president, the October 7 attack and the war in Ukraine would not have happened, arguing that the Biden administration is responsible for both events.

HE STATED THAT US VOTERS SEE INFLATION AS A PRIORITY

Making assessments regarding the economy, Trump stated that the elections are approaching and that people want to hear something about the economy.

Stating that people cannot do their grocery shopping because they do not have enough money, Trump said, "Inflation has destroyed them." Pointing to the rise in food prices, he added, "The stupid administration allowed this to happen; it is shameful, and I think this is what people care about the most."

Stating that inflation is "eating up" the middle class, Trump noted that 4-5 years ago people were saving money, whereas today they are spending all their money and borrowing just to survive. Trump said, "What is happening is terrible, and we will put an end to it."

Elon Musk, for his part, argued that inflation is caused by excessive government spending and that spending must be reduced. Furthermore, Musk expressed the need for a government efficiency commission to examine what expenditures are being made. "I would be happy to help with such a commission," Musk said.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE REMARK

On the other hand, Trump emphasized that artificial intelligence requires twice the energy the country currently produces, and therefore, more energy will need to be generated.

Trump stated, "If our country is going to be competitive with China on artificial intelligence—because that is our primary competitor—it will require a lot of electricity, almost twice as much as we currently produce."
