Donald Trump's striking message on Syria: 'Assad has fled'

Former US President Donald Trump made striking statements on social media regarding developments in Syria and Ukraine.

'ASSAD HAS FLED HIS COUNTRY'

Evaluating the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, Trump said, "Assad is gone, he has fled his country. Russia, led by his protector Vladimir Putin, is no longer interested in protecting him. There was no reason for Russia to be in Syria, and because of Ukraine, they have completely lost interest in Syria."

Trump also touched upon the heavy losses Russia has suffered in Ukraine, stating, “600,000 Russian soldiers have been wounded or killed in the war in Ukraine. This war should never have started and it could go on forever.”

CALL FOR RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR

Stating that Russia and Iran are currently in a weak position, Trump said, "Russia is weak because of the war in Ukraine and its bad economy, while Iran is in a difficult situation due to the success Israel has achieved in the war. Likewise, Zelensky and Ukraine want to make a deal and stop this madness. Ukrainians have also lost 400,000 soldiers and many more civilians. A ceasefire must be made immediately and negotiations must begin to end this painful situation."

Trump emphasized that the lives lost and families affected by the war worldwide are unnecessary. Trump added, “Too many lives are being wasted unnecessarily and too many families are being destroyed. If this continues, it could turn into something much bigger and worse.” At this point, Trump addressed Vladimir Putin, calling out, “It is time to act. China can help. The world is waiting!”
