Elephant horror: US tourist trampled to death

The blood-chilling incident took place in the town of Livingstone, located in southern Zambia.

An American tourist named Juliana Tourneau lost her life following an elephant attack she experienced at the Maramba Cultural Bridge in Livingstone.

Southern Province Police Commissioner Auxensio Daka provided information about the tragic event. Daka stated that Tourneau was heading to an activity near the Zambezi River.

Daka said that when the unfortunate woman was returning to the hotel with her family, they encountered a herd of elephants and stopped to watch them from up close. Stating that Tourneau fell to the ground after an elephant attacked her, Daka noted that the elderly woman was trampled under the elephant's feet and sustained injuries.
