EU move against Israel

The European Union (EU) has decided to impose sanctions on Israeli far-right groups.

It was stated that the decision covers Israeli far-right individuals and groups who have called for ethnic cleansing against Palestinians, played a role in acts of violence against Palestinians in the West Bank, and blocked humanitarian aid trucks.

According to the statement made by the EU, it was decided to impose sanctions on Bentzi Gopstein, the leader of the group Lehava, which opposes the mixing of races, and Baruch Marzel, who is accused of calling for ethnic cleansing against Palestinians.

The statement noted, “Settler activists Zvi Bar Yosef, Moshe Sharvit, and Isaschar Manne, as well as the illegal outposts Moshe's Farm and Zvi's Farm, have been penalized for their roles in acts of violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.”

It was also reported that sanctions were imposed on the Tzav 9 organization due to protests blocking humanitarian aid trucks heading to the Gaza Strip.
