Evacuation warning from Israel
As the Israeli army continues its attacks on Lebanon, it has issued an evacuation call to civilians in the Dahiyeh district, south of the capital Beirut.
Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated in a post on his social media account that certain facilities belonging to Hezbollah in the Ghobeiry neighborhood of Dahiyeh would be targeted.
Adraee stated, "You are located near facilities belonging to and used by Hezbollah, which will be targeted by Israel in the near future. For your safety and the safety of your family, you must immediately evacuate the buildings indicated in the attached map and the surrounding buildings in Ghobeiry in the Dahiyeh district, and move at least 500 meters away."
3,386 PEOPLE KILLED IN ATTACKS
The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched hundreds of airstrikes on September 23 against southern Lebanese cities, the Bekaa Valley, and the Baalbek region. According to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, a total of 3,386 people have lost their lives since the start of the clashes, including 878 women and children and 192 healthcare workers, while 14,417 people have been injured. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was also killed in Israeli airstrikes on Beirut on September 27.

Hezbollah, in turn, is responding with rocket and missile fire at Israel. These attacks, which mostly target military bases, have not caused significant damage on the Israeli side.
WAVE OF DISPLACEMENT GROWS
Due to Israel's bombardment of Lebanon, there is an intense wave of migration from the southern parts of the country toward the capital, Beirut, and the north. According to United Nations data, more than 1 million 400 thousand people have been displaced in Lebanon due to Israeli attacks. The Lebanese government announced that more than 585 thousand of these individuals have migrated to Syria.
