Explosion at California courthouse: 6 injured

In the U.S. state of California, 20-year-old Nathaniel McGuire, who was accused of "illegal possession of a firearm," caused 6 people to be injured after an explosive device in a bag he threw at the courthouse entrance checkpoint detonated. Following the explosion, authorities reported that the courthouse's security cameras were being used to examine the details of the incident.
Witnesses at the scene stated that McGuire was acting aggressively before throwing the bag. Authorities indicated that the condition of the injured is stable and that they have been taken to the hospital. Immediately after the incident, McGuire was apprehended by police teams and charged with "attempted murder" and "possession and use of an explosive device."
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) special agent Ted Docks made a statement after the investigations, noting that the incident was not linked to terrorism. Docks said, “What we know at this time is that this incident is not connected to international terrorism and the suspect has no known ties to terrorist groups.”
