Explosion at military training ground in Poland: 2 dead
Two soldiers lost their lives as a result of a TNT explosion at a military training ground in Poland. The Krakow Gendarmerie Command has launched an investigation into the explosion, the cause of which is not yet known.
The General Command of the Polish Armed Forces announced that an explosion occurred around noon today at a military training ground located in the village of Solarnia, near the town of Lubliniec in the south of the country.
Stating that 2 soldiers lost their lives at the scene as a result of the explosion, the General Command of the Armed Forces explained that the explosion took place during a TNT demolition exercise.
PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED
While the Polish Ministry of National Defense conveyed its condolences to the families of the soldiers who lost their lives, it was stated that all necessary medical and psychological support would be provided to the families by the Polish army.
While the cause of the explosion is not yet known, it was reported that an investigation has been launched by the Krakow Gendarmerie Command regarding the matter.
