First response from Sanchez following Trump's threat against Spain

The criticisms directed by Trump were not limited to Spain. He also harshly targeted the UK's long-term lease policy regarding the Diego Garcia Island in the Indian Ocean, describing the policies of that era as "stupid."

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez made his first public assessment following the developments. Pointing out that the armed conflicts in the region negatively affect global security, Sanchez said, "The Iran War has turned the world into a more insecure place. We are against this catastrophe. The war in Iran will not provide a fairer international order."
