Flash claim from Russia regarding the Moscow attack

Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), has alleged that the US, the UK, and Ukraine are behind the terrorist attack on the "Crocus City Hall" concert venue in Moscow.

Bortnikov made statements to journalists following an expanded meeting of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia.

Responding to a question about whether the US, the UK, and Ukraine were behind the terrorist attack in Moscow, Bortnikov stated, "We believe this is the case. We are already talking about the evidence we have. This is general information, but they also have a lot to gain from it."

Reporting that those who carried out the terrorist attack in Moscow planned to flee to Ukrainian territory, Bortnikov stated that they had preliminary information that these individuals were expected on Ukrainian soil. Noting that those who carried out this attack wanted to be welcomed as "heroes" in Ukraine, Bortnikov stated that the mastermind behind the terrorist attack has not yet been identified.

Stating that Ukraine is trying to prove itself, Bortnikov said, "What needs to be done to prove your existence? Sabotage and terrorist acts must be carried out in the background, which is what both the Ukrainian intelligence and British intelligence directors are aiming for. American intelligence services have also discussed this issue many times," he said.

"GENERAL INFORMATION"

FSB Director Bortnikov also claimed that Ukraine is preparing and training militants in the Middle East, stating that the presence of fighters of different nationalities on the front against Russia is an indication of this.

Bortnikov reported that the US had provided information about a possible terrorist attack in Russia and that this was taken into account, but noted that this information was of a general nature.

Underlining that Russia will respond to the terrorist attack in Moscow, Bortnikov emphasized that everyone involved in this attack will be found and punished.

Pointing out that the terror threat in the country persists, Bortnikov recalled that terrorist attacks by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) continue to be prevented. Bortnikov also stated that the Ukrainian intelligence organization SBU should be recognized as a terrorist organization.

Furthermore, in response to a question about the head of Ukrainian Military Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, and other intelligence officials, Bortnikov replied, "Those who commit crimes against Russia and Russian citizens are legitimate targets."

Responding to a question about why these targets have not been eliminated, Bortnikov stated that it would happen.
