Fuel restrictions imposed on private vehicle owners
In Russia's Tver region, fuel sales to individual users have been temporarily restricted at some gas stations. Corporate businesses have been exempted from this restriction.
It has been reported that temporary restrictions have been placed on fuel procurement for citizens in Russia's Tver region. In a statement issued by the Tver Region Ministry of Industry and Trade, it was stated that sales to private vehicle owners at gas stations affiliated with the Surgutneftegaz and Tatneft companies have been restricted for a certain period.
The same statement indicated that no restrictions would be applied to corporate customers and that fluctuations in the regional fuel market are being closely monitored by administrative authorities.
On the other hand, it is known that many oil refineries in the country have been taken offline or put into maintenance due to recent drone attacks by Ukraine on oil refineries in Russia. These developments have led to the implementation of additional measures regarding supply balance in Russia's domestic market.
