World-renowned Turkish doctor Mehmet Öz will serve as the head of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in Donald Trump's cabinet.
A FIRST IN HISTORY FOR A TURKISH NAME
Mehmet Öz's confirmation hearing before the Senate Finance Committee is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 14.
With this hearing, it will be the first time in history that a person who is both a Turkish and American citizen will have gone through the confirmation process in the US Senate.

Mehmet Öz's sister, Seval Öz, will also be the second Turkish name to join the cabinet.
