Corpses covered in signs of torture found at hospital in Damascus
The torture and massacres committed by the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria are being revealed one by one. At the Harasta Military Hospital in Damascus, 30 to 40 corpses were found bearing prison code numbers. The bruises and contusions on the bodies clearly reveal signs of torture.
Another chapter has been added to the suffering left behind by Bashar al-Assad and his regime, which was toppled after 24 years in Syria and fled to Russia.
Those investigating the traces of atrocities at Sednaya Prison and other torture centers have tracked the victims to hospitals.
30 TO 40 BODIES STACKED IN A ROOM
A team that went to the Harasta Military Hospital in the capital, Damascus, filmed bodies whose shrouds were marked with numbers corresponding to prison codes, but which lacked names.
It was noted that the 30 to 40 bodies stacked in a room were covered in bruises and contusions.
SIGNS OF TORTURE PRESENT
It is estimated that the individuals, who appear to have been killed after being subjected to torture, were left at the hospital recently.
Some groups arriving at the hospital for research are documenting and recording the condition of the decomposing bodies, preparing to identify them.
Here are the images from that room...
