'Gaza' protest during Biden's speech

US President Joe Biden was protested by some demonstrators in the hall while he was giving a speech at an event at the Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

The demonstrators, who stood up in the church and chanted "ceasefire now" in reference to Gaza, called on Biden to "take action for a ceasefire."

"CEASEFIRE" CALL

One of the demonstrators was captured on camera saying, "If you care about the lives lost here, then honor the lives lost and call for a ceasefire in Palestine."

Another demonstrator said, "20,000 people have died, their blood is on your hands." The demonstrators, who were later escorted out by security, continued to chant for a ceasefire during the process. After the demonstrators were removed, those remaining in the hall cheered for Biden, chanting "four more years."

"I AM WORKING QUIETLY"

Continuing his speech afterward, Biden stated, "I understand their passion. I have been working quietly with the Israeli government to get them to reduce and significantly get out of Gaza."

Calls from both the American and international public for the US administration, which continues its unconditional support for Israel, to stop Israel's attacks and take action for a ceasefire in Gaza are increasing.
