In a statement from the company, it was emphasized that Google plays a significant role in accelerating clean energy solutions, including next-generation advanced clean technologies.

The statement reported that the company has signed the world's first corporate agreement to purchase nuclear energy from multiple small modular reactors to be developed by Kairos Power.

The statement noted that the agreement aims to bring Kairos Power's first small modular reactor online quickly and safely by 2030, followed by the deployment of additional reactors by 2035, and added that the deal will provide up to 500 megawatts of carbon-free energy to the U.S. electricity grid.

The statement emphasized the need for new electricity sources to support artificial intelligence technologies, stating that nuclear solutions offer a clean and continuous energy source that will help meet electricity demand reliably.
