Hamas responds to request for talks on ceasefire agreement

Zuhri said, “The group is open to any proposal that will end the aggression against the Gaza Strip, any agreement that will put an end to the suffering of our people and lead to a permanent ceasefire. Israeli forces have deliberately destroyed medical infrastructure and civil defense resources in Gaza. Hamas has called on countries that have normalized relations with Israel to immediately sever their bilateral ties.”
