Harsh message from Iran to Israel and the US: 'Watch the skies over Israel tonight'

Following the Israeli military's attack on the Dahiyeh district in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, harsh statements have come from Iranian officials. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, and Ebrahim Rezai, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, made assessments regarding the attack.

HARSH REACTION FROM GHALIBAF TO THE US AND ISRAEL

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf made statements targeting the US and Israel in a post on the US-based social media platform X.

Claiming that the US and Israel are not committed to a ceasefire or dialogue, Ghalibaf argued that the steps taken by the two countries are increasing tension in the region.

"THEY HAVE SHOWN THAT THEY ONLY UNDERSTAND THE LANGUAGE OF FORCE"

In his statement, Ghalibaf said, "They are neither committed to a ceasefire nor do they believe in dialogue. By continuing the naval blockade and violating agreements regarding Lebanon, they have shown that they only understand the language of force."

Stating that the Iranian Armed Forces are ready for the struggle as always, Ghalibaf also made notable assessments regarding the consequences of the support the US provides to Israel.

"US BASES ARE BECOMING LEGITIMATE TARGETS"

Ghalibaf included the statement, "The naval blockade against the Iranian nation and the green light the US has given to the Zionist regime today are making the US and the regime's bases and assets in the region legitimate targets."

Ebrahim Rezai, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, also made a statement regarding Israel's attack on the Dahiyeh district.

Posting on his social media account, Rezai stated that Israel would be retaliated against, saying, "We will give a definitive response to the Zionist regime's Dahiyeh attack."

"WE WILL GIVE A PAINFUL RESPONSE"

In his statement, Rezai said, "We will give a definitive and painful response to Israel in retaliation for their attacks on Dahiyeh. They need to receive a harsh response."

LOSS OF LIFE IN DAHIYEH ATTACK

The Israeli military carried out an airstrike on the Dahiyeh district of Beirut despite the ceasefire.

According to initial reports, 2 people lost their lives and 11 people were injured in the attack.
