He sued Apple after his wife found the messages he used to cheat: 'I thought they were deleted?'
In the UK, a businessman's wife discovered messages he had sent to sex workers and deleted from his iPhone on another Apple device. The betrayed wife decided to file for divorce, while the cheating husband has launched a 5 million pound lawsuit against Apple.

The businessman later deleted these messages. However, his wife caught these messages on another Apple device and filed for divorce from her husband.
The cheating husband, in turn, filed a complaint against Apple after his messages were exposed. The philandering husband stated that he had communicated with sex workers using the iMessage app on his iPhone and that his wife had found the messages he had deleted from his phone on his computer.
Stating that his wife learned about the events in a very painful way and therefore wants a divorce, the man claimed that the sole reason for his experience was that Apple told him the messages were deleted when they were not. Noting that he did not receive a warning such as "These messages were only deleted on this device," the British husband announced that he has initiated legal action for 5 million pounds.
