Hezbollah: Israel will die of terror with the plans we have prepared

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem spoke at the funeral ceremony held for Ibrahim Aqil, one of Hezbollah's leading commanders who lost his life in the attack carried out by Israel on the southern suburbs of Beirut on September 20.

Pointing out that Aqil was Hezbollah's special operations commander and the founder of the movement's elite unit, the Radwan Force, Qassem said, "Aqil is a martyr for Jerusalem and Palestine. He watered the fields of jihad with his blood." Qassem stated that he would not disclose how Hezbollah would respond to Israel's recent attacks and that they have entered a phase of open reckoning.

Expressing that they will not allow the Israelis who migrated from northern Israel to other parts of the country due to Hezbollah's attacks to return, Qassem said, "The Lebanon Support Front will continue its support until the war in Gaza ends, no matter how long it takes."

Stating that there will be more migration from northern Israel and that their support for Gaza will continue, Qassem used the expression, "Go to the Gaza Strip and stop the war."

Saying that Hezbollah is ready for all kinds of military possibilities, Qassem noted the following:

"We will not announce how we will respond to the attack; we have entered a new phase titled the 'Open Reckoning War.' With the plans Hezbollah has prepared, Israel will die of terror."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened Hezbollah today following the intense rocket attack Hezbollah carried out around the city of Haifa, saying, "Israel has dealt Hezbollah a series of blows it could not have imagined. If it hasn't received the message, I promise it will."

WHAT HAPPENED?

In the airstrike carried out by the Israeli army on the southern suburbs of Beirut on September 20, 45 people, including 3 children and 7 women, lost their lives. Hezbollah announced that 15 of its members, including one of its high-ranking military commanders, Ibrahim Aqil, were killed in the attack.

The international community warns that a regional war could break out in the face of Israel's consecutive attacks.

Israel lists the safe return of its citizens, who were evacuated from northern regions near the Lebanese border due to the clashes, to their homes as one of its "war goals." In contrast, Lebanon's Hezbollah emphasizes that the clashes in the region will only end if Israel's attacks on Gaza cease.
