High-level military loss in Iran: 8 generals and Hajizadeh have lost their lives

Iranian state television has broadcast a statement from the Revolutionary Guards Corps regarding the generals who lost their lives in Israel's attacks on the country. The statement reported that 8 generals also died in the Israeli attack in which Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Force Commander Hajizadeh lost his life. It was noted that the generals in question were Mahmoud Bagheri, Davoud Sheikhiyan, Mohammad Bagher Tahirpour, Mansour Safarpour, Masoud Tayyib, Khosrow Hasani, Javad Jorsera, and Mohammad Aghajafari.

It had been reported that high-ranking military officials, including Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Israel on Iran on June 13.

The names of the military officials in question who died in the Israeli attack, including Revolutionary Guards Corps Air Defense Systems Commander Davoud Sheikhiyan and Aerospace Force Deputy Intelligence Chief General Khosrow Hasani, had been announced previously.

No information has been provided yet regarding the ranks and duties of the other generals.

THE CONFLICT THAT BEGAN WITH ISRAEL'S VIOLENT ATTACKS ON IRAN

On June 13, Israel carried out large-scale attacks targeting the military's high command, primarily nuclear facilities in various cities across Iran.

While the Iranian Chief of General Staff, the General Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, some high-ranking commanders, and 9 nuclear scientists lost their lives in the attacks, the total civilian death toll was announced as 78.

It was reported that 13 people died and more than 400 people were injured in the Iranian military's retaliation against Israel with ballistic missiles.

Numerous countries, led by Turkey, condemned Israel.
