Hollywood stars react sharply to Trump over Iran

The military operation launched jointly by the US and Israel, in which the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was announced, has drawn sharp reactions from American artists, as it has around the world. Many celebrities, including Mark Ruffalo, Stephen King, Jack White, John Cusack, and Carrie Coon, who shared their views on social media platforms, leveled heavy criticism at President Donald Trump.

Jack White criticized Donald Trump's military decisions, pointing out that his own family is not at risk, and stated:

"Don Jr. or Barron don't have to fight or die, other people's children will die. So invade and bomb! Can you believe Donny hasn't received a real Nobel Peace Prize yet? Unfair!"

John Cusack pointed to the timing of the attack on Iran, emphasizing that the main purpose of the operation was to divert attention from documents related to Trump's Jeffrey Epstein-linked cases and to fulfill the wishes of Benjamin Netanyahu.

Stephen King claimed that President Trump exceeded his authority in deciding to go to war and expressed his reaction by pointing to American law with the following words:
