Houthis issue statement regarding missile attack on Israel

The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen have confirmed the recent missile attack on Israel. Houthi Political Bureau member Hezam Al-Asad, in a statement on the social media platform X, claimed the attack was successful, stating, “It is meaningless for sirens to sound after the target has been hit.”

Criticizing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his policies, Al-Asad said, “Netanyahu will learn that his dream of a new Middle East serves no purpose other than to be a burden on him and the structure he represents.” Emphasizing that they will continue to target Israel, Al-Asad stated, “We will not stop until the attacks on the people of Gaza end.”

MISSILE FIRED FROM YEMEN AT ISRAEL

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had announced that sirens sounded in the central and southern parts of the country due to a missile fired by the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen. It was reported that the missile was successfully neutralized and that there was no loss of life or property.
