How many Turkish doctors are working in Germany? Citizens of that country are in first place
The number of doctors working in Germany with foreign passports has been revealed. It was stated that the number of Turkish doctors is 2,628.
According to reports published on Sunday by Funke Media Group newspapers, which based their findings on statistics from the German Medical Association, as of December 31, 2023, there were 63,763 doctors working in Germany who do not hold a German passport.
According to the report by DW Türkçe, the data shows that this number has doubled since 2013.

Among the countries from which these doctors without German passports originate, Syria leads with 6,120 doctors, followed by Romania in second place with 4,668 doctors. It was reported that 2,993 doctors from Austria are working in Germany, while 2,943 doctors from Greece and 2,941 doctors from Russia are serving in the country.
The number of doctors who came from Turkey and are practicing medicine within the German healthcare system was announced as 2,628.
