In a statement issued by the Portuguese Air Force, it was stated, "The Air Force regrets to report that two aircraft were involved in an accident during an air show at the Beja air show at 16:05 local time."
According to reports in the local press, one pilot lost his life, while the other plane involved in the collision managed to land.
