India outlines roadmap for military integration in 2047 vision

Speaking at a summit held in New Delhi, Indian Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh made significant statements regarding his country's long-term goals in the field of defense. Singh stated that within the scope of this strategic vision, they will make an intensive effort to increase the country's national capacity and self-reliance. He noted that in the 2030s, a "layered national defense shield" will be established to protect India's strategic and civilian assets.

Singh emphasized that Indian defense policies will be built on versatility and strategic autonomy. Highlighting the country's goal of "becoming a pole in its own right," Singh also touched upon the importance of strengthening the military structure in proportion to economic growth.

Finally, stating, "Ultimately, we will reach an era of excellence where we become a fully integrated, self-reliant military power capable of projecting power in the Indo-Pacific and beyond," Singh once again demonstrated India's military ambition and determination on the international stage.
