Iran confirms death of high-ranking official in Israeli attacks
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that Navy Commander Ali Reza Tangsiri has lost his life as a result of a US and Israeli attack.
As Israeli and US attacks on Iran continue, another high-ranking Iranian commander has lost his life. In a statement released by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), it was stated that IRGC Navy Commander Rear Admiral Ali Reza Tangsiri was severely wounded and subsequently died in an attack that occurred while he was strengthening defense systems and reorganizing forces on islands and coastal lines.
The statement noted that Tangsiri played a role in targeting key facilities and infrastructure as part of operations against the enemy and was influential in the process that led to the downing of a US warplane.
The statement, which also included a message of condolence, emphasized that the Iranian people and the armed forces would continue the struggle with determination, stating, "Together with the Iranian people, who are writing the greatest epics of history in these days and nights, we will continue the struggle until Jerusalem is liberated and the enemy is completely eliminated."
