Iran: Consultations on meeting venue continue

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei made statements regarding the coordination process for the negotiations to be held with the US on Friday.

Speaking to the official Iranian news agency IRNA, Baghaei said, "Planning has been made for the negotiations to take place within the next few days.

Consultations are ongoing to determine the venue for the talks.

The public will be informed once a final decision is made."

"The venue for the talks should not be used as material for media games"

Thanking the countries that have shown sensitivity and good faith in shaping the diplomatic process, Baghaei stated, "The venue and time of the talks are not essentially a complex issue, and this should not be used as material for media games. Turkey, Oman, and some other countries in the region have expressed their readiness to host the talks, and this is extremely valuable to us."
