Iran launches missile attack on Israel

Iranian state television announced that new attacks with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been launched against Israel, while sirens sounded in the capital Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Iran has begun new retaliatory attacks against Israel. While Iranian state television announced that new missile attacks against Israel had been launched, sirens sounded in the capital Tel Aviv and Haifa. It was reported that Iranian forces carried out a combined attack with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) alongside missiles targeting Israeli cities.

"STAY IN SHELTERS"

In a statement made by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), it was stated that "millions of Israelis are rushing to shelters due to missiles fired from Iran, especially in the northern cities," and it was announced that a large number of ballistic missiles launched from Iran had been detected.

The statement, which said, "More sirens are expected to be heard in the coming minutes, air defense systems are working to intercept the threats," instructed civilians to remain in shelters until further notice.

Information was provided that the missiles were fired from Tehran and Shiraz.

The Israeli military spokesperson also announced that air defense systems were attempting to intercept the missiles fired from Iran.

When the alarm sounds, the public is asked to enter a protected area and remain there until further instructions.

Shortly before this statement, everyone across the country was instructed not to leave areas near shelters.

The statement said, "When the alarm sounds, enter a protected area and stay there until an official update is released."

Meanwhile, it was reported that sirens sounded in Jordan.

CONFLICT BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES

On June 13, Israel carried out large-scale attacks targeting the military's top command echelon, primarily nuclear facilities in different cities of Iran.

While the Chief of General Staff of Iran, the Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guards, some high-ranking commanders, and 9 nuclear scientists died in the attacks, the total civilian death toll was announced as 78.

It was reported that 3 people died and 172 people were injured in the retaliation carried out by the Iranian army against Israel with ballistic missiles.

Many countries, led by Turkey, condemned Israel.
