Iran responds to Trump's threats: 'Stop killing the people of Yemen'

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi gave a sharp response to US President Donald Trump's threat against Iran. Araghchi replied to Trump, who demanded an end to support for the Houthis in Yemen, by saying, "End your support for Israeli genocide and terrorism. Stop the killing of the Yemeni people."

In his post on the X platform, Araghchi stated, "The US government has no authority or mandate to dictate Iran's foreign policy. That era ended in 1979. Last year, Biden was tricked into providing an unprecedented 23 billion dollars to the genocidal regime (Israel). More than 60 thousand Palestinians have been killed, and the world holds the US fully responsible."

The Iranian Foreign Minister, in response to threats against his country, criticized the US administration by saying, "End your support for Israeli genocide and terrorism. Stop killing the people of Yemen."

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump announced in a post on Truth Social that they have launched military operations against the Houthis in Yemen.

Trump also called on Iran, stating, "Support for Houthi terrorists must end immediately. Do not threaten the American people and their president; if you do, be careful because America will hold you fully accountable, and we will not be kind about it."
