Iran says 'the matter can be deemed concluded' following its attacks

Earlier this month, Israel conducted an airstrike on Iran's consulate building and ambassador's residence in Damascus, resulting in the deaths of 13 people. Among those killed was Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, one of the commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Following the attack, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement declaring that Israel would be held accountable. Following these statements made in the first days of April, Iran launched an attack on Israel with kamikaze drones on April 14.

Following the tension that escalated rapidly with mutual statements, the Iranian Permanent Mission to the UN made the following statement on X:

"Conducted on the strength of Article 51 of the UN Charter pertaining to legitimate defense, Iran’s military action was in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus. The matter can be deemed concluded.

However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe.

It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime, from which the U.S. MUST STAY AWAY!"
